General
Xortcut is an AI-powered Career Guidance Cell for schools and colleges. Instead of a one-time career test, it gives every learner a living roadmap with monthly milestones, knowledge assessments, real-world challenges, and bi-monthly feedback reports.
Traditional tests give static results. Xortcut is agentic AI — it tracks progress month by month, adapts to changes in interests, and ensures students stay on a guided path from Class 5 to 12.
From Class 5 onwards. Classes 5–7: explore sectors (broad fields like Tech, Healthcare, Law, Arts). Classes 8–10: narrow into clusters (focused areas like Engineering, Design, Finance). Classes 11–12: decide on specific careers (e.g., Ethical Hacker, CA, IAS, Pilot).
No. It complements them. Most schools cannot afford full-time counselors. Xortcut automates 80% of structured guidance so teachers and parents can focus on mentoring and emotional support.
Yes. The progression from Sectors → Clusters → Careers matches the NEP 2020 emphasis on early exposure, stream alignment, and career readiness.
For Parents / Students
Your child’s detailed report belongs to you and your family. Schools only see batch-level insights (e.g., how many are interested in Science vs Commerce). Sharing of individual reports with schools is consent-based.
Every two months, you receive a feedback report highlighting achievements, gaps, and next steps. You can also check progress anytime in the portal.
That’s expected. Xortcut supports multiple career slots. You can select 3 (standard) or upgrade to 6. Students can add or switch careers as they grow.
Yes. We allow custom careers in addition to curated ones. Xortcut adapts milestones and challenges to keep passion alive.
Yes. You can set a country of education and a desired country of work. Xortcut adapts the roadmap (exams, licensing, scholarships, immigration notes).
Not by one long % bar. Students see: Annual milestones completed (e.g., 9/12 this year). Streaks (consistency). Badges for achievements (Resilience, Research, Communication). Year-end summaries with clear takeaways.
No. Milestones and challenges are age-appropriate. For Class 5, a “challenge” could be visiting an airport or making a paper plane. For Class 12, it could be drafting a CV or solving a mock case study.
For Schools / Colleges
Batch-level dashboards (how many aiming for Science, Commerce, Arts, Jobs, Exams, Higher Studies). Parent-ready reports to show value during PTMs. Plug-and-play setup — no need to hire counselors. Reputation boost — parents see your institution as future-ready.
Flat ₹2,499 per student per year (3 career slots). This includes test, roadmap, milestones, challenges, bi-monthly feedback, and dashboards.
Yes. Schools collect the “Career Guidance Fee” from parents and pay Xortcut per student. Final fee may vary by institution.
Yes. For colleges, Xortcut strengthens the placement cell by: Identifying early which students want jobs, exams, or higher studies. Tracking employability milestones (projects, communication, internships). Providing readiness analytics for recruiters.
Privacy & Data
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We comply with Indian IT laws and global best practices. Parents can request export or deletion of student data at any time.
No. We do not sell or share student data with third parties. Insights are only for parents and institutions (in aggregate).
Vision
Integration with Xortlist: age-appropriate corporate challenges & internships. Mentorship: connect students with alumni & professionals. Certifications: skill badges from industry.
Because Xortcut isn’t static. It plans, adapts, nudges, and tracks progress over years, not hours. It acts like a career agent for each student.
